More than an hour? Switch off and read
It’s nothing particularly new but more evidence has been made available if it were needed that watching TV rather than reading might make it harder for you to learn and climb up the academic ladder. The Guardian reports on an American study that found that 14-year olds who watched more than three hours of television a day were twice as likely not to continue their education after school. Although the study proves a point you do have to wonder who funds these studies into the painfully obvious.
