The Independent produced a selection of prose and poetry to celebrate the arrival of spring and along with some well known passages by Wordsworth, ee cummings and William Blake there were some choices that are not so well known. One that really seemed right for the blue-skied sun-shined day it has been today was by Nick Drake:
